The SipBox is an IP VoIP PBX designed for the small office and home office user.
A recent survey revealed that over 90% of businesses in the UK employed 10 people or less. With the growth in take up of SIP and VoIP PBX systems, we realised that there was a place in the market for a device especially targeted towards this user base.
Experience told us that many small businesses were currently using devices that were far more powerful than what they actually needed yet still having the same vulnerabilities and points of failure that components like fans and spinning disks introduced.
Experience in field service showed that in the majority of cases failure resulted from one of three main areas. The three main areas of failure we found in VoIP PBX systems currently available are PSU, hard drive failure or components overheating and failing as a result of fans failing.
The SipBox addresses all of these issues whilst delivering a rock solid VoIP IP PBX for 20-30 users with up to 10 concurrent calls. In testing we will show it comfortably handling more than this but we would not be able to recommend you use it this way.
